Top flight coaches to conduct APR academy selection

APR has called upon top flight coaches to help out in selecting the cream for the soon to open APR academy.According to the academy president Cpt. Cammarade Murara, the final selection phase will be carried out from November 16 to 22.

APR has called upon top flight coaches to help out in selecting the cream for the soon to open APR academy.
According to the academy president Cpt. Cammarade Murara, the final selection phase will be carried out from November 16 to 22.

The academy coach Rene Kalimunda will team up with different top flight coaches for this exercise.

The academy, which starts its operations in January, 2010 will be comprised of U-15 players.  The aim is to groom good, skilled and strong players for local clubs and the senior national team ‘Amavubi Stars’.

From the pre-selected 146, only 30 will be incorporated into the academy. Besides football, the academy will offer parental care, accommodation and education to the youngsters.
