Police Handball Club secured the 2024/2025 national handball league title after defeating rivals APR 39–33 in Game 3 of the playoffs, played at Petit Stade. Police HC dominated the first half, leading 18–13, and continued their strong performance in the second half, adding 21 more goals to seal the victory. APR managed 20 second-half goals, bringing their total to 33. The win marked Police HC’s third consecutive victory in the best-of-five series, rendering the remaining two fixtures unnecessary. They had previously won Game 1 with a narrow 26–25 victory and Game 2 with a 36–30 win. This championship marks Police HC’s 10th league title since joining the competition in 2004. Their last championship win came in 2021. They remain the most successful club in Rwandan handball history, followed by the former KIE with five titles, and APR HC and Gicumbi HT, who each have three.
