Volleyball: Kepler avoid EAUR upset to keep winning form

Kepler VC continued their winning streak with a hard-fought 3-1 victory over East African University (EAUR) on Saturday, February 15th, at Petit Stade Indoor Gymnasium.

EAUR came out strong to claim the opening set 27-25 before Kepler won three consecutive sets to take home the win. After finding their rhythm, the won the second set 25-22, the third 25-16 and the fourth 25-19 to complete the comeback.

The victory follows Kepler's recent win against APR, demonstrating their consistent performance in the league, especially in the second phase where they haven’t lost a single match.

In other fixtures, Gisagara VC bounced back from their previous loss to Police VC in Round 9 with a dominant victory over RP Ngoma in three sets 25-21, 25-16, and 25-14.

In women&039;s league, Police VC outplayed Kepler in four sets (25-12, 25-12, 26-28, 25-16). APR also delivered a dominant performance sweeping EAUR in three straight sets 25-20, 25-10, 25-23.

Ruhango VC continued the trend of decisive wins, sweeping RP Huye 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-13).

Action continues on Sunday, February 16th. Gisagara VC will take on Rwanda Energy Group (REG), while, in women’s league, Ruhango VC will face Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) who are eager to bounce back from their recent loss to APR. The match is scheduled at 1 p.m.
