Kepler volleyball club coach Fidele Nyirimana has made a rallying call on his team to build on their bright start to the new season and keep their top form consistently if they are to not only challenge for the Rwanda volleyball national league title against other powerhouses this season.

Kepler won both games when the league resumed over the weekend, beating REG 3-0 on Friday and KVC 3-0 on Sunday. They have now registered three victories from their last four outings.

"I am trying to build a team which can perform well and consistently, that is my long-term plan. We have a good squad but it’s my duty as a coach to make sure the team performs well in every match,” Nyirimana said.

Nyirimana is convinced that most of the players who signed for the club know what it means to win the league having tasted success with their previous clubs and, that way, they will want to do the same with Kepler.

"We have signed players who were champions in the past. We believe they can bring a winning mentality to our team,” he noted.

The volleyball league will be played in two phases, home and away, and the top four will meet in the playoffs which will determine the winner of the league for both men and women.
