Nkubiri Gerald Innocent Junior, better known by his stage name of "Bac-T”, is a Rwandan hip-hop artist and radio emcee.

The husky voiced rapper became famous in 2008 after releasing his dancehall wonder hit "More Fire” in which he featured Tanzania ‘Bongo Flava’ group, Wanawume Family.

He had previously released countless singles dating back to 1997—his first hit being "Miujiza” a Tanzania word that literally means, "Miracles”. He has released hit singles, performed at local concerts and recorded songs with some locally famed artists.

Bac-T’s music career has neither thrived nor failed to appease his fans.

Bac-T has also worked on radio since 2005, hosting several showbiz programs on Radio Flash and Contact FM. His worst gripe in the radio industry is about the emcees who promote artists unfairly.  He says, "Some of them are corrupt and promote ‘ill music’, hence downplaying potential stars and their songs.”

The rapper is also currently finalizing his 16 song album, "The Return of the Superman”, which will be launched at the end of the year.  He is preparing to travel to neighbouring Uganda to record a song with Ugandan rap star, GNL Zamba.

Bac-T promises to make a super return with his new album.
