This is the 4th day into 2011 and as you read this issue, you will discover a number of topical issues that have gripped our youth today.

There are also tots of wisdom that will help teens to look deeper into their lives and learn to appreciate their talent as well as the talents of others. 

There is no way someone can appreciate something else without loving what they already have within their lives.

A good example is when it comes to appreciating and supporting local Rwandan culture. Read on and see what the Teen Times has to say about that.

Culture in simple terms is a way of life. It involves different things like language, dressing, dance, music and peoples beliefs. Our culture binds us together.

Within a people culture lays the values that hold us together. Culture also reminds use on different roles that we all play to maintain our way of life

Sometimes because of influence from other societies we forget what belongs to us and crave for what is not ours. 

This is not good because we will lose who we are. We might forget how important culture is in holding us together.

We should appreciate and learn our culture, because it is what reminds us of our culture and our belonging.
