Kigali-based cycling club InovoTec have announced the signing of fast-rising rider Yves Nkurunziza.

The deal was completed and made official on Tuesday, January 10, but details on the duration of the contract remain undisclosed.

"Nkurunziza has officially joined InovoTec. Welcome to the big cycling family," the team said via Twitter.

Nlkurunziza, 22, who is among the best young riders in Rwanda, won the second part of the 2019 Cycling Cup dubbed "Tour de Kigali". He had an opportunity to train in Monaco in France during the same year.

He previously featured for Benediction Excel Energy Cycling Club.
