Football may be the headline, but the FIFA World Cup 2026™ is already moving to music.

With the tournament in sight, the official soundtrack is bringing together artistes across continents in a way that mirrors the scale of the event itself.

Alongside the album, FIFA is staging a Countdown Concert on June 10 across Mexico City, Toronto and Los Angeles, a synchronized live event marking the final stretch before kickoff.

Several artistes have already contributed to the tournament’s growing soundtrack.

Dai Dai – Shakira & Burna Boy

Shakira and Burna Boy headline the official anthem of the FIFA World Cup 2026, a track built around global celebration and cultural purpose. The song supports the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise $100 million for education and football access worldwide.

Shakira’s royalties will be donated to the fund, with additional support matched by Sony Music. She will also co-headline the World Cup final halftime show, marking a first in tournament history.

Lighter – Jelly Roll, Carín León & Cirkut

"Lighter” brings together three host nations through Jelly Roll (United States), Carín León (Mexico) and Cirkut (Canada), a GRAMMY Award-winning producer.

The track blends country, regional Mexican influence and modern pop production, reflecting North America’s shared hosting role.

Jelly Roll said the collaboration showed how music can connect people across unexpected spaces. Carín León called it a proud moment representing Mexican culture on a global stage. Cirkut said the goal was to build a sound that reflects the "soul of the host countries” while still reaching global audiences.

Por Ella – Los Ángeles Azules & Belinda

Mexican cumbia group Los Ángeles Azules teams up with pop artiste Belinda and producer Tainy on a Spanish-language track rooted in Mexican sound.

The song carries a strong cultural identity, tying into the album’s broader "from Mexico to the world” theme. Belinda called the collaboration an honor, saying it reflects both cultural pride and the global energy of the World Cup.

Los Ángeles Azules said the track was created with passion and built to connect with football fans worldwide.

Echo – Daddy Yankee & Shenseea

"Echo” pairs reggaeton pioneer Daddy Yankee with Jamaican artiste Shenseea, co-produced by Tainy. The track samples Ibrahim Maalouf’s "Red & Black Light” and brings together dancehall and reggaeton through a shared rhythmic base.

Daddy Yankee described the song as a reminder of music’s ability to unify people beyond language and borders. Shenseea said football and music both operate as universal languages, making the collaboration feel natural on a global project like this.

Illuminate – Jessie Reyez & Elyanna

Jessie Reyez and Elyanna deliver a more reflective collaboration blending alternative R&B, global pop and Middle Eastern influence. Produced by Cirkut, the track centers on identity, emotion and cultural connection.

Reyez is donating her artiste fee to charitable causes, while Elyanna plans to support related initiatives tied to the global campaign surrounding the tournament.

Goals – LISA, Rema & Anitta

"Goals” brings together K-pop, Afrobeats and Latin pop through LISA, Rema and Anitta. Produced by Cirkut, the track reflects the increasingly global nature of pop music and the World Cup’s international reach.

Anitta described her involvement as personal, tied to her upbringing in Brazil and memories of the tournament. Rema called it "three continents on one track,” while LISA said it reflects music’s ability to unite audiences worldwide.

The trio will also perform at the opening ceremony in Los Angeles.

Game Time – Future & Tyla

Future and Tyla deliver a high-energy hip-hop record built around anticipation and match-day adrenaline. Produced by Cirkut, the track captures the final moments before kickoff, blending Tyla’s global pop sensibility with Future’s rap intensity.

Future called it a record made for a global stage, while Tyla described it as a milestone connecting her South African roots to the World Cup’s worldwide audience. Both acts will also perform at the opening ceremony in LA.

Repeat It – Martin Garrix & Ed Sheeran

Martin Garrix and Ed Sheeran revisit a decade-old collaboration on "Repeat It,” a dance-pop track that blends acoustic guitar, electronic production and orchestral touches. Garrix said the release marks a long-awaited milestone in both his career and friendship with Sheeran.

Sheeran noted the track’s long history and fan demand finally bringing it to release.
