Atalanta and Bologna in race for Rwanda’s Sahabo

Serie A clubs Atalanta and Bologna have reportedly showed interest for Rwanda international Hakim Sahabo.

Football Italia has reported that the two Italian clubs on several occasions in recent weeks sent scouts to watch the Standard Liege midfielder, who turned 20 in June, as they plan to make an offer to sign him in 2026.

Sahabo has represented Rwanda at international level and has already amassed nine senior caps for the country of his mother.

Coming up through the Standard Liege youth academy, there were experiences at LOSC and Beerschot VA on loan before returning to his current club in the summer.

So far this season, Sahabo has made 15 competitive appearances for Standard Liege.

Tuttomercato values his price tag to currently be beteene €6 and 7 million.

He had also previously been a target for Eintracht Frankfurt and TSG Hoffenheim in the German Bundesliga, as well as Leicester City in England, according to L’Avenir Sport.
