Rwanda U20 coach Dominique Ntawangundi has named a 12-man squad for the 2025 Men’s U20 African Nations Volleyball Championship, scheduled to take place in Cairo, Egypt, from September 11-25.
The team will join eight other countries that have confirmed their participation at the continental championship which will also serve as a qualifier for the 2026 FIVB U21 Men’s Volleyball World Championship.
The squad, captained by Tristan Kayiranga, includes Thierry Munyinya Mugisha, Pacifique Mpambara, Christian Mupenda, Saidi Sharta, Guervy Igabe, Kevin Manzi, Hugo Denzel Kaneza, Aime Chris Butera, Nolan Ganza, Amos Mugisha, and Josue Mugisha.

Other participating countries include Nigeria, Cameroon, DR Congo, Morocco, Tunisia, Zimbabwe, South Sudan who are making debut appearance and hosts Egypt.
The tournament will take place at Hassan Mostafa Hall, with delegations expected to arrive in Cairo on September 11.
The opening ceremony is set for September 13, officially marking the start of the competition.
