APR’s long awaited football academy will open early next year, Times Sport reports.

Of the pre-selected 100 players, aged between 13 and 15, only the best 30 will make it into the academy.

The final selection, set for mid November, will be jointly carried out by APR’s Dutch tactician Erik Paske; Rayon Sport’s Baptista Kayiranga and Atraco’s assistant head coach Emmanuel Ruremesha.

Rene Kalimunda, the academy coach said that the criteria for selection will be individual skill, speed and physical strength.
