A daily dose of omega-3 can prevent heart disease in healthy people as well as reduce the risk of heart attack for those who suffer from heart disease.

The confirmation of the benefits of omega-3 comes from a new study have led the researchers to recommend adding daily dose of omega-3 to your diet to prevent the risk of death from heart disease.

Their conclusion is based upon an analysis of multiple studies that included more than 40,000 people over the past three decades. The study was recently published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

The benefits of the plentiful omega-3 fatty acids are found in fish oil. They help improve the electrical activity of the heart, as well as muscle tone, plaque stabilization, blood pressure, and more.
