After leading the club to their tenth league title, APR has rewarded their Dutch coach Erik Paske with a one year contract extension until October next year.

Paske took over as head coach from his compatriot Rene Feller, who retired from the game in April after the expiry of his contract.

The former assistant to Feller made an immediate impact on the club by denying rivals Atraco a historic treble when his team won the league title on the final day of the campaign.
While confirming the deal, APR Secretary General Adolphe Kalisa praised the Dutchman’s impact on keeping the players focused on the challenge to the last day.

"He has been very instrumental in our winning this year’s league title, so we decided to extend his contract by one year. We agreed a one year rolling contract with him,” Kalisa confirmed to Times Sport by phone yesterday.
