Team Rwanda set for Dubai test ahead of Tour du Rwanda

Seven members of Team Rwanda will compete in Tour de Sharjah, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) from January 24-28.

Seven members of Team Rwanda are set to take part in Tour de Sharjah, a racing competition that will take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) from January 24-28.

The 12 elite road race is part of Team Rwanda’s preparations ahead of the upcoming Tour du Rwanda which will take place between February 23 to March 2.

The 2025 Tour of Sharjah is a men's cycling race is part of the Asia Tour 2025 and is a Class 2.2 stage race.

Rwandan riders who will participate in the UAE race left the country on Thursday, January 23.

The event will include 168 cyclists from 21 countries, as well as a variety of activities such as races for people with disabilities and youth.

The team has been holding intensive preparations in Musanze in a bid to stage a successful performance Tour du Rwanda.
