Campus life is exciting knowing that you have made it to the highest academic institution, You know, nobody will wake you up early morning again for preps, slopping to the campus with your favorite haircut and style just the way you have always imagined, rocking with your flossy outfits, the list goes on.

Things are more fun when you join a fabulous university that allows you explore the world rather than burning the nights, not until you find that you have done a three year degree for six years.

Several students take a donkey’s years’ to finish with university studies, whereas some give up before they even wrap it up. This happens especially with private schools, since they offer different programs to target even those at working level.

Nobody can describe how frustrating it can be to leave alone juggling deadlines and commitments, but, knowing that you are finally calling it a day with your bachelor’s degree and boom! Something distracts and regardless, it always turns back to you, and even if it wasn’t your fault, nobody cares. Here are the compulsory things that will help you at campus

Get organised

Getting yourself organised will save you a whole lot of time and stress. With a lot that can be going on from daily life plus school itself, it's easy to lose track of what's going on, what you need to do first and when to do it. Even though this might sound old schoolish, carrying a paper diary is a really useful tool to keep you organised. You can also use notes from your phone that will help you track all the deadlines you have ahead of you

File your documents

From day one you have joined a university, get a hard file folder only meant for your study purposes and start keeping each document and paper you are given including your bank slips. So many people are still struggling with universities because they lost some of their documents.

Ask for your results

Always print your results every end of a semester and keep them safely. Many students lose their marks and so everything included in delays them and they end up losing it in their finals.

Follow up

Don’t sit back hoping your head of department will call your for feedback. Always ask and make sure to have full and reliable information. Don’t hear from one person, always ask any other head in your department, to make sure that you won’t lose it at the end. Following up will also help you to be updated and know where to seek advice from.

Have proof/ do not panic

Stand on your word and have proof for your concern. This makes it essential to keep every record, even if it looks useless and has no value currently, you never know when you will need it.

Last but not least, do your best and don’t panic. Things may not go well as you planned but remember that getting into a flap about having too much going on won't solve anything.

Don't panic! Take a few deep breaths and start tackling one thing at a time.
