Volleyball: Gisagara keen to maintain unbeaten streak in league

Volleyball league defending champions Gisagara are keen to maintain their unbeaten run in the national volleyball league after beating APR and REG respectively on Sunday at Gisagara gymnasium.

Gisagara beat REG 3-0 before Gisagara beat APR 3-2.

Gisagara volleyball coach Fidele Nyirimana told Times Sport that their target is not to take any team for granted is they are to maintain a winning run.

The club now leads the table with 8 points, a point ahead of second-placed REG, while APR are in third place with 6 points.

While the club is only focusing on retaining the league title, Nyirimana is eager to see his boys win every game to finish the season unbeaten.

"We want to win all our games; it will be a tough away match but we are looking forward to setting a record.”
