Kigali partiers will get to party quietly in what has become known as silent disco.
The first edition of the party was held in 2015, and its second edition in 2016 but both events registered low turn up and it was mainly attributed to the low communication on the part of organisers.
Classic Events is bringing back the event, with a promise to make it like none ever; much better on experience.
According to Cédrick Mutangana, the co-organiser, the objective of the party is to celebrate the Heroes’ Day, which will be marked on February1.
A silent disco is an event where people dance to music listened to on wireless headphones.
“This event is characterised by individuals being issued a pair of wireless WiFi headphones at entrance, through which deejays play music accessed through an option of three channels by the audience on the dance floor,” Mutangana explained.
Three DJs; Toxxik, Diallo, Marnaud, Edwizzy Selecta and Fem, will spin different genres of music, including R&B, Hip-hop, reggae, disco, salsa and oldies.
It is all going down this Wednesday, at Kigali Convention Centre (KCC), and to get yourself into the mix, all you have to part with is Rwf10, 000.
