Rashford rocket puts United closer to Europa League final

MADRID - Manchester Uniteds teenage striker Marcus Rashford struck a stunning second-half free-kick to secure a 1-0 win at Celta Vigo in their Europa League semi-final, first leg on Thursday. The victory puts United on course for this months final with Ajax Amsterdam the most likely opponents after they beat visitors Olympique Lyonnais 4-1 in their first leg on Wednesday. Celta keeper Sergio Alvarez had denied United several times but was powerless to stop Rashfords 67th minute strike soaring into the net after the striker had won the free-kick. Uniteds victory was slightly soured when 19-year-old Rashford hobbled off 10 minutes from time clutching his knee.
