Rwanda welcomes arrest of Genocide suspect Kayishema
Members of the FDLR-FOCA, a UN-sanctioned terrorist group that has operated in eastern DR Congo for nearly three decades. The genocidal militia was formed by the masterminds of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. Today, along with its splinter groups including CNRD/FLN and RUD-Urunana, the militia is at the heart of the insecurity affecting eastern DR Congo and the region.
