Kagame dissolves the Chamber of Deputies, thanks outgoing MPs
The 3rd Chamber of Deputies is set to be dissolved tomorrow, Thursday 9, to pave way for the election of members of the next Lower House due early next month. Article 79 of the Constitution stipulates that the President of the Republic shall dissolve the Chamber of Deputies at least 30 days and not more than 60 days before the expiry of its current membersu2019 term of office.
