YesterdayRayon Sport    3-1  SC KiyovuAPR               1-1  AmagajuAS  Kigali       2-0  EspoirToday Marines          vs     MuhangaPolice             vs     EtincellesLa Jeunesse    vs        MusanzeMukura           vs     IsongaJEROME Sina scored a hat trick as Rayon Sport brushed aside league leaders SC Kiyovu 3-1 in the Primus National Football League Yesterday at Amahoro stadium.The Amavubi striker needed less than two minutes to put the hosts ahead with a perfect header from Fuadi Ndayisenga’s cross, which easily beat pint-sized Kiyovu goalie Shamiru Batte.Sina netted the second goal when he pounced on another free cross from Eric Niyonshuti to stroll the ball into the net in the 26th minute before wrapping up the job in the 56th minute.Eric Serugaba netted a late consolation goal for the league leaders when converted Djabir Mutarambirwa’s free kick.Bokota Labama and Mutarambirwa had shots from the edge of the box well saved by Rayon Sport goalkeeper Marcel Nzarora in the first half.Kiyovu coach Jean Baptiste Kayiranga was forced to make an early substitution bringing on Olaze Gahonzire for Simon Nyamugenda in a bid to boost his striking force but it paid less dividends.The champions APR missed the opportunity to close the gap further after being held to a 1-1 draw by Amagaju at Mumena grounds.The thoroughly deserved win moves the Blues into ninth position with nine points, while Kiyovu stay top with 18 points, one ahead of high-flying AS Kigali, who beat Espoir 2-0 at Stade de Kigali. It is Kiyovu’s second defeat of the season and the biggest after losing 1-0 to Police on match day six.
