Div. II

Quarter-final second leg

Today

Musanze v Interforce

Tomorrow

Electrogaz v Etoile

Amagaju v Military

Aspor v UNR

Musanze Fc will earn a place in the quarter final of the second division league if can only avoid defeat in the return leg against Interforce this afternoon at Ruhengeri stadium.

The Northern Province giants coached by Sogonya Hamisi a.k.a Kishi won the first leg 2-0 and will be favorites to wrap up their unfinished business with a home victory.

Speaking to Times Sport by telephone yesterday, Kishi said that after winning away from home, he believes the task will be a lot easier at home.

"We have to win tomorrow’s (today) in order to qualify for the semifinal and I am quite confident we shall achieve exactly that,” he noted.

A draw is enough to send Musanze through to last four while Interforce will be having other ideas especially considering the fact they need to win by more than two goals to do their cause any justice.

Tomorrow, Electrogaz, who were held to a goalless draw in midweek face another test against Etoile de l’est at home ground in Camp Kigali.

Amagaju who played a goalless draw against Military in Kigali three days ago will take on their rivals at Gikongoro grounds while Aspor who suffered a 0-3 loss to UNR in Butare will host their counterparts at Kicukiro grounds.

The two finalists automatically get promoted to the topflight division while I an unprecedented move, four teams will be relegated to division two from the top division. In the past, only the last two teams have always been relegated.
