Striker Ernest Sugira has said he has not held any talks with any Rwanda Premier League club amid reports linking him with Kiyovu and Police.

Reports in the local media indicated that Sugira whose contract with Syrian giants Al Wahda expires in June, is in talks with Kiyovu and Police but he has quashed the assertions.

"It is not true, I am not in talks with Kiyovu, Police or any other Rwanda Premier League club,” Sugira told Times Sport.

"I am yet to decide if I will stay at Al Wahda or not."

The talented striker has put up some good performances despite Al Wahda's poor campaign which has seen them at the 10th position in the 12-team league with just two wins and three draws from 15 games.

Sugira, 32, has previously played for clubs including APR, Rayon Sports, Vita Club as well as AS Kigali.

He joined Al Wahda as a free agent on August 11, 2022 after his contract with AS Kigali expired in June 2022.
