Rwanda Vs Burundi 1pm

It will be a clash of titans when Rwanda U17 take on Burundi in the final of Zone 5 women's youth and junior tournament on Sunday at Benjamin Mkapa Indoor Stadium, Dar es Salaam.

The team, coached by Anaclet Bagirishya, confirmed ticket to the final game after beating Ethiopia 47-6 in the semi-finals on Saturday while Burundi progressed to the final after a convincing 42-11 semi-final victory over South Sudan.

The tournament brought together eight teams representing countries from Zone 5 region, which were clustered in two groups.

The Zone 5 women's youth and junior tournament serves as a qualification event for the Continental Phase of the Women's IHF Trophy Africa.
