Teta Sandra reunites with alleged abusive fiancé

Rwandan socialite and event organizer Teta Sandra has reunited with her famous Ugandan fiancé and singer Weasel Manizo, who is thought to have a record of assaulting his lovers including his Rwandan fiancée and baby mama.

The New Times learnt that Teta landed in Kampala on April 6, and was warmly welcomed by the famous singer with whom they have two kids together.

For several months, Weasel, real name Douglas Mayanja, has been the talk both in Rwanda and Uganda following allegations that he beat up his lover Teta.

The allegations, despite being denied by Teta, attracted attention of many including Rwandan celebrities, media and some members of Teta’s family who flew into Uganda and took her with them back to Kigali, saying that they are protecting their daughter from her "abusive fiancé”.

Since then, there have been reports that Weasel has been in peace talks with Teta’s family trying to get her back and his efforts were successful.

Speaking to Ugandan media, Weasel confirmed that Teta is back in Uganda and that they are living well together.

"She came back after all the words that have been said. My baby is back. I love you if you are watching this,” Weasel told the Ugandan press.

He also noted that the plans for a traditional pre-wedding ceremony known as Gusaba are underway.

"The wedding has to happen. All those ceremonies must happen because I love her. We gave birth to two beautiful kids so we have to make it official,” he added.

Meanwhile, Teta stays one the most famous socialites in Rwanda best known for hosting parties and different events held around Kigali.
