Jacque’s Vibes:Loveless January

When all has been spent over the big festive season, what is left for the new-year is meager.  Couples often welcome the New Year in shopping bliss, and in the best way possible with less thought given to the month of January. After all has been spent, couples begin to get misunderstandings since they can no longer get the money to fulfill their immediate needs and wants. One may think that the past year left their accounts blocked.

Therefore, for those who depend on money as their relationship binder, are in for a rude awakening. Their relationships are strained due to high stress levels.

The relationship therefore gets bitter since their needs cannot be met hence having a loveless month for 31 days. These seem few but for a relationship, they are a whole lot of days because in that time much can be done for the relationship to grow.

Time wasted can never be gained; this is true in all aspects of life even in a relationship. Being broke should not be basis for ruining a love relationship. Some of these things call for maturity and  think that by the time people decide to get into a relationship, they can handle the dark and bright times that come with it.

There is no reason for not giving each other the love that they deserve with a reason, like ‘I am broke.’ Is having money the only pipeline of love- I can only wonder.

Couples are getting it wrong here; haven’t they learnt the essence of for better or worse? So why get to January and the love is gone, just because they overspent over the festive season?

From January to December, there should be love flourishing between couples despite their empty pockets. There should be no quarrels in January because there is no money hence no love; this is not true love because true love persists even when the mist and fog are thick.

Happy January!
