Last week, the 7th Annual National Pediatric Conference on HIV/AIDS was held in Kigali. The conference was organized to create awareness on HIV/AIDS among children and youth. Children were encouraged to stay safe and not give up on life if they have HIV Positive parents or are infected with the virus.

The meeting brought together different health organizations, partners, and children that represented others from all sectors in the country. Local artistes entertained the participants with songs full of the HIV message, poems were also recited and plays performed, to the amazement of the children.
