Play with good friends

We all need a friend to play with. We need a friend who will make us happy and will not hurt us. But not every child is a good playmate. So we need to choose children who are friendly, polite and are fun to play with. Friends like these make playtime fun and exciting unlike the stubborn ones who make playing a nightmare. Children should avoid playing with kids who like to fight, bully others and say bad words. The Bible says that, ‘Bad company corrupts good character.’

Behaving well makes your parents happy. Avoid bad friends who are disrespectful to teachers, friends and parents.

Marvin, a primary three child is always getting into trouble for having bad playmates. His friends love to fight, abuse others and make noise in class.

Marvin is a good boy but is always with bad boys. The teachers always punish him along with his friends because they think he is like them.

People think that children, who walk and play with bad-mannered friends, are also badly behaved. Children should stick to good friends who are obedient so that they avoid getting into trouble like Marvin.
