Expo without money is torture

Expo is the place to go when you are in the mood to spend some money. Going there to window shop will simply leave a person depressed and mad at the world for not having money. Lucky enough, portable ATM machines have been strategically placed for anyone who claims not to have money on them. My honest suggestion is that anyone who is not financially capable of spending at the expo should save themselves the trouble and not go there. There is nothing worse than seeing something you really like yet don’t even have the money to buy it.

Gazing at products without money to buy is tough.

It is equally traumatizing watching all these hordes of people buying things and leaving with that look of sheer satisfaction on their faces while you sit there and wallow! Why should anyone go through something like that?

My guess is that women are the ones who mostly enjoy the expo because we all know women love to shop. From all sorts of jewelry (metallic or weaved) to shoes and bags and clothes, expo has got it all. No woman would be crazy enough to just waltz in there with no money on her and expect to have a good time unless there goal was to go straight to the Mutzig tent!

It’s like visiting one of the great fashion cities in the world like Paris or Milan and leave without a single thing to show for it. Who goes to Paris with no money really? It’s ridiculous. If it happens then I suppose that person stays indoors all day because walking past all those glamorous boutiques would leave any woman itching to enter and buy a piece of something.

Expo might not be Milan but it is pretty much the one place you can find almost everything you need in Kigali without having to walk from building to building. It is a true shopping experience one must not miss. You don’t have to go in there and buy everything it has to offer. If you just leave with a beautiful pair of earrings or a lovely set of tablemats for your dining table at home, it will be worth it. It’s better than leaving with nothing at all.

The good news is that expo goes on for a whole month. Not a day or a week but a month. So if you don’t have money today or tomorrow, it’s okay. Money is bound to come somewhere in between there. If it doesn’t and the expo month is drawing to an end, borrow from someone. Yes, it is actually worth the trouble!
