Emmanuel Ruterana’s quest to win the KCB Golf tour is still on hold after the 28-year-old shot three over 75 yesterday to take his total to 290 finishing in sixth position.

The Kigali Golf club player shot double bogeys on holes 8 and 17 and only carded a birdie on hole 12.

It was a Kenyan affair, as 1-5 positions were dominated by Kenyans led by 21-year-old Greg Snow.

"I did my best but unfortunately it was not my day. I will need to put in some time in the Gym before tournaments in the future,” Ruterana said.

Compatriot Jean Baptiste Hakizimana carded one over 73 to take his total to 291, finishing in 8th position.

Snow, who was sponsored by Kigali Serena Hotel for the 4 day event attributed consistency to be the key factor. "I played good golf throughout. The key difference was my consistency,” noted Snow.
