Thursday Uefa Cup qualifier Drogheda United v Helsingborg Rwanda’s Sweden based professional player, Olivier Karekezi’s could not find the net as his side Helsingborg was held to a goalless draw by Elfsborg United in the Swedish first division league clash over the weekend.

According to the club’s website, the in-form Rwandan international could not find the break through despite a series of outstanding individual skills.

Karekezi featured on the right back after the return of veteran striker, Henrik Larson in the striking force.

The result left Helsingborg sixth on the table with 27 points.

Elfsborg IF tops the league table with 33 points from 19 league fixtures.

Meanwhile, Helsingborg will face Drogheda United in the second round qualifier of the Uefa Cup championship which will be played at Olympia stadium on Thursday.

Helsingborg played a 1-all goal draw against Drogheda United on their home ground in the first round qualifier of the Uefa Cup which was played a fortnight ago.
