Despite the absence of an official Team Rwanda entry at the Pearl of Africa Uganda Rally 2026, Rwandan flag was still proudly represented courtesy of Queen Kalimpinya’s impressive performance in the colours of KCB Bank Kenya Rally Team. After suffering a mechanical failure during the opening race on Friday, May 8, that forced her to retire, Kalimpinya bounced back to run the show on Saturday. Her moment of brilliance emerged during the continental rally event when she secured second place in the ARC2 category. Before the rally, Kalimpinya had already expressed pride in carrying Rwanda colors at the event, describing herself as the only Rwandan representative competing during the weekend.
