Traditional singer Ibrahim Cyusa has refuted rumors that he is dating Nadjima Usanase, ex-wife of Karim Nizigiyimana Makenzi, former captain of Rayon Sports FC.
The rumors started circulating on Tuesday, February 14, on different social media platforms with reports indicating that the renowned traditional singer was spotted several times hanging out with Usanase in pubs of Kigali.
The reports also added that there is evidence that Usanase and Cyusa will spend Valentine's Day in Huye, where the artiste is expected to perform the same day.
Addressing the claims during an interview with The New Times, Cyusa denied dating Usanase, insisting that he also saw the news online like others.
"I don't know anything about that relationship. I saw the same rumors online like others. I’m not dating anyone,” Cyusa told The New Times
The rumor comes a few months after Cyusa parted ways with Jeannine Noach, who is also aunty to the famous Mackenzie’s girls behind Zoi fashion house.
Usanase married Karim Nizigiyimana Makenzi in 2016, but later divorced with one kid. Makenzi currently plays for Gasogi United.
