Top PLE kid wants to be a pilot

Jess Mugisha from Kigali Parents School emerged best candidate in the 2010 Primary Leaving Examinations.

He has always been the best in his class and he maintained this position in the national examinations.

Mugisha said got to know that he was the best in the country when he read The New Times. However, he fully confirmed his position when the headmaster called to congratulate him for his outstanding performance.
"I was extremely happy when I received the news and I thank my parents, teachers, friends but above all God,” Mugisha said.

He said that he was able to excel as a result of concentration and staying focused with his studies.

"I performed well because I liked all the subjects, revised hard and left no stones unturned since there is nothing to fear but fear itself,” Mugisha said.

Mugisha‘s aunt, Annet Mutangwa escorted him to share the good news.

She said: "We are happy and we thank God. Since he has been excelling from day one, we somehow expected it.”
"I plan to join Lycee De Kigali and I want to become a pilot in future,” Mugisha said.
