Naomi Nishimwe and Michael Tesfay
After being crowned Miss Rwanda 2020, Nishimwe was reported to have dated different men until she announced on her social media platforms last year that Michael Tesfay is the one.
The two were first seen together at Miss Rwanda 2022 grand finale and ever since then, they have been making rounds on social media with baecation pictures and videos mostly seen on Nishimwe’s YouTube channel.
Ethiopian Tesfay is a master’s degree holder from Edinburgh University, UK in medical related field, while Nishimwe co-owns a fashion house dubbed Zoi.
The two are among the youngest celeb couples of Kigali that show signs of wedding soon.
Aurore Kayibanda and Jacques Gatera
Aurore Kayibanda Mutesi, the winner of Miss Rwanda 2012, was recently engaged to businessman and golfer Jacques Gatera after divorcing Egide Mbabazi in 2021.
After their engagement which took place in January 2023 at a golf course in the US, Kayibanda and Gatera were regarded as the most trending couple of 2023 given how they are still making rounds on social media platforms.
The two came as a surprise but they have been dating for the last couple of years and are set to tie the knot soon, according to close friends.
Gatera is one of Rwanda’s best amateur golfers – a plus 3 HCP, which is a fairly excellent skill level in golf, while Miss Kayibanda runs different businesses in the US were she relocated seven years ago.
Bruce Melodie and Catherine Umuhoza
Last week, pictures of a new car that Afrobeats star Bruce Melodie gifted her wife, took social media by storm, and this is one of many other things that define the love which has lasted for over a decade.
Bruce Melodie kept his love life private until he made a song for Umuhoza titled ‘Katerina’ which is one of his most trending hits of all time.
Bruce Itahiwacu has been dating Umuhoza since he was 17 and the two started living together in 2015. The couple has two daughters together.
Shaddyboo and Jeannot Manzi
Fashion model and socialite Shadia Mbabazi, best known as shaddyboo, recently unveiled that she is back in the dating business after breaking up with renowned video director Meddy Saleh.
Shaddyboo is currently dating Nairobi based Rwandan Jeannot Manzi after being rumored to be in love affairs with a number of celebrities including Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz, rapper AY as well as US-based Rwandan upcoming singer Shaffy.
Shaddyboo and Manzi have been dating for over a year now.
The Ben and Pamela Uwicyeza
US-based Rwandan R&B/pop musician The Ben and former beauty queen Pamela Uwicyeza are one of the celeb couples that has not stopped trending after their colorful engagement ceremony that was held on October 17, 2021, in Maldives Islands.
The Ben is currently one of the best musicians in the region while Pamela is a former Miss Rwanda contestant.
The two legally wed in October last year and are set to do other wedding ceremonies soon.
