There is this serious debate on what a candidates’ farewell ceremony should be like. Many schools are organizing farewell events for their students while others are done with that. The debate in the house is that…what is the best way to organize a farewell ceremony?

We have been invited to several of these events to cover them and we are always shocked by the difference in the organization! At some you find that there are people preaching like the one at Lycee De Kigali, others are very brief in that they last for just two hours like the ones at Riviera while others have a lot to write about like the one at Kagarama S.S. At other schools, you wonder if they ever have these events; an example can be KICS and King David Academy!

We are not trying to diss anyone here but we believe that every event should have something memorable about it and also be time sensitive. We would say the event at Riviera was off the hook!

The time was well managed and the program was followed! Anyways that will be for another time…welcome to this edition of The Teen Times, Rwanda’s number one youth magazine.
