The National Post Office last week rewarded two students after emerging best writers in a letter writing competition. This was during the International Postal Day celebrations. Christine Dusenge, a senior three student of College Doctrina Vitae Secondary School in Ndera, Gasabo district emerged winner and walked away with Rwf100,000.

The National Post Office last week rewarded two students after emerging best writers in a letter writing competition. This was during the International Postal Day celebrations.

Christine Dusenge, a senior three student of College Doctrina Vitae Secondary School in Ndera, Gasabo district emerged winner and walked away with Rwf100,000.
"I am very happy to be rewarded as the best writer and I will encourage my friends to take part in the next competition,” Dusenge said.

Christian Kwizera was the second best was and received Rwf75,000. He is a student at Petit Seminare Virgo in Butare, Huye district.

According to the Director General of the National Post Office, Celestin Kayitare, the annual competitions are aimed at encouraging and promoting the culture of writing in order to have good future writers.
