TRUE MAN: Beat up a woman ..!?

This is a common topic amongst guys; “Can you beat up a woman? Is it justifiable to beat up a woman?” Most of the time, the discussion starts with every one claiming strongly that they cannot raise their hand to a woman, because the woman is physically weaker, and it’s just not manly to fight with a woman.

This is a common topic amongst guys; "Can you beat up a woman? Is it justifiable to beat up a woman?” Most of the time, the discussion starts with every one claiming strongly that they cannot raise their hand to a woman, because the woman is physically weaker, and it’s just not manly to fight with a woman.

However, in next to no time most people start agreeing that under special circumstances, they would maybe just slap the woman; Just a small slap.

But like sin, a small slap or total battering of a woman is the same; you have beaten the woman. While some say they can’t beat up women because it is unmanly to fight with a woman, they forget that this topic is not about fighting; it is about beating the woman.

Of course those who do it or have done it say they had reason to do it. They can justify it; claim they were pushed over the edge, they were left with no other choice, or the woman simply deserved it.

So, I think this question is better rephrased as "would you beat up a woman?" Unfortunately for most men, although we would like to deceive ourselves otherwise, the answer is yes.

One day you get back home from work, and find that she’s done that same thing you’ve told her countless time not to do. Now instead of acting like an adult, she starts shouting and making all kinds of noises.

So you slap her. There, you have done it, and you don’t even feel guilty about it. Interestingly, some women think that it’s ok for a man to beat up a woman, if "she asks for it".

They say women can be big-headed, (obviously talking from experience), so when she hears of a man beating up a woman, she believes that most likely, the woman somehow pushed the man into beating her.

Then there is that angle of dominance; using beatings to establish dominance. In some tribes, this has to do with culture; it is expected that a man beat up his woman regularly. If it not to show who is the man of the house, then it is to keep her in line and deter her from whatever mischief she might be cooking up.

The women expect this regular spanking, and hold no resentment against it. In fact, the man is at risk of being despised by his woman if he doesn’t beat her up regularly.

Nonetheless where I come from, there are certain tribes whose women, without losing any of their feminine attributes and attractions, are built equally strongly as many men.

Here, the question of "beating up the woman" is not so clearly defined. Often, it starts with the man beating up the woman and ends with the neighbors having to save the man from the woman's beating.

In modern society, however, with the enlightenment that comes with civilization, is there a reason for beating up a fully grown woman? A little girl, yes that is ok, it comes as a form of punishment lest she go astray. How about an adult woman who is mature and conscious of her actions?

Someone who will understand what you are telling her if you simply talk to her? No, beating a woman up isn’t right. Someone said, "I wouldn’t beat up a normal girl, but I would beat up a prostitute if she acted silly". A prostitute is a woman, regardless of her questionable reputation.

Supposing the woman isn’t listening to you, what then? What if she does the same thing over and over again, the same thing that is wrong, but she just goes ahead and does it anyway?

What if she takes advantage of the fact that you’re obviously a gentleman, knowing that she can get into whatever mischief she wants, and still, you wouldn’t raise your hand to put her in line?? What if you are left with no other option? Does it become morally right?

Does that justify your beating her? That, gentlemen, is a personal decision!
