The Rwanda Premier League match between Rayon Sports and Musanze that was due to take place Saturday January 21, has been shifted to Sunday, January 22 at Muhanga Stadium, according to the local football governing body(FERWAFA).

Rayon Sports is one of the teams that will be hosting their matches at Muhanga Stadium when the league resumes on January 20, to pave the way for renovation works at Kigali Stadium which have been underway since last week.

Other teams that shifted to the stadium are Kiyovu and Police FC.

While the Blues were expecting to host Musanze at the stadium, Muhanga District, which manages the stadium informed Ferwafa that the facility won’t be available on Saturday "because there is another function that was planned to be held at the facility.”

It left the federation with no option other than rescheduling the match the following day.

Meanwhile, the match between table leader AS Kigali and Marines will be played at the same ground at 15:00 instead of 12:30.

Rayon sit fifth on the league table with 28 points while their next opponents Musanze finished the first round of the league in ninth place with 22 points.
