Muhanga women want Kagame for presidency

MUHANGA - Women in Muhanga sector, Muhanga district, have promised to support the Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF) candidate, Paul Kagame to enable him continue the party’s rural development programme.

The women made the remarks on Thursday, during RPF-Muhanga campaign rally held at Mate cell in Muhanga sector.

The rally was attended by hundreds of jubilant residents, most of them being women and youths.
"Women will vote for Kagame to enable him complete the job he started.

The development speaks for itself and he (Kagame) has promised to fulfil many other promises,” Maltida Mukakanamugire, a women representative said.

Senator Aloysie Inyumba, said that the party has one agenda for all Rwandans, which is the growth of the country. She advised residents to vote wisely, in big numbers, and keep time on the election date.

"Our party wants to see all Rwandans develop and attain social transformation. Let’s vote for our candidate who has shown the ability to meet the demands and needs of our community,” Inyumba said.

Residents together with RPF officials celebrated the party’s achievements in the past seven years. Over 13,000 Muhanga sector residents out of over 162,000 in the whole district are expected to vote in the elections slated for August 9.
