I was once very sick and I didn’t know I had HIV/Aids until the day government officials came offering free testing. It is then that I learnt that I was living with the virus. I lost hope of living but was offered free medication and now I am living a happy and healthy life.

In this area, we faced difficulties in accessing medical facilities, but ever since Kagame came into power, he gave us an ambulance, a health centre and we are now beneficiaries of Mutuelle de Sante (health insurance).
