After this long and interesting vacation, yesterday most of the children reported to their respective schools for the academic year 2008.

However, some students and pupils have not yet reported to school due to different reasons; children should be helped report in time.

Children need to be assisted in putting their scholastic materials and every thing that the school may require at the beginning of term together in time to avoid disturbances at school.

For parents who have their children’s school fees, they should at least pay in time so that children are not disturbed as mid-term exams begin.

This is a new year with new resolutions let us hope that parents who have not been able to have quality time with their children have included it on their 2008 year’s resolutions.

Children need our attention, love, affection and rebuke to grow into reasonable people. Parents, make sure that you are the closest people to your children; avoid leaving them with house helps most of the time. House helps are not the best people to discipline and bring up children.
