KIDS NEWS : Children to Participate During Traffic Week

School children will take part in the traffic week that begun yesterday April 19th. The traffic week is an annually organized event by the Rwanda National Police. “Children will also participate in the traffic Week to ensure that they get the message of the event,” , Eric Kayiranga the police spokesman has said.

School children will take part in the traffic week that begun yesterday April 19th. The traffic week is an annually organized event by the Rwanda National Police.

"Children will also participate in the traffic Week to ensure that they get the message of the event,” , Eric Kayiranga the police spokesman has said.

The traffic week is aimed at sensitizing road users on road safety through educating them on laws governing road use.
Road users including drivers, motorcyclists and pedestrians will be sensitized by police officers along various roads.

According to Kayiranga, the Traffic Week will be launched at Nyabugogo Taxi Park and the focus will be to discourage over speeding as a measure to reduce on road accidents.
