Japan pledges more support to Tumba College of Technology

RULINDO - The Japanese Ambassador to Rwanda, Kunio Hatanaka has pledged more support to Tumba College of Technology (TCT). He made the pledge during a one day visit to the college last week.

RULINDO - The Japanese Ambassador to Rwanda, Kunio Hatanaka has pledged more support to Tumba College of Technology (TCT).

He made the pledge during a one day visit to the college last week.

"The Japanese Government, through Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)  is committed to continue rendering support to Tumba College of Technology to boost its quality of education,” said Hatanaka. 

Ambassador Hatanaka, was accompanied by an official from Japanese Foreign Ministry and third Assistance planning division for International cooperation Bureau officer Mayu Sakota and an official from Rwanda’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  

The visiting delegation was received by the Principal of Tumba College of Technology Eng. Pascal Gatabazi.

They were taken around the College IT, Electronic Telecommunication, Alternative energy and administration departments. 

Eng. Gatabazi hailed JICA for their continued support to the college. "Tumba College of Technology cherishes all its achievements in the provision of quality education due to JICA’s support,” said Gatabazi.
