Playoffs (Second division)

La Jeunesse vs Nyanza
Kibuye         vs Muhanga

LA Jeunesse coach Mohammed Ndikumana has vowed to spearhead the club’s return to the Primus national league (top flight) by beating Nyanza in a play-off contest to be held after the mourning period of the 1994 genocide against Tutsis.

The Nyamirambo-based side that scooped the second and final qualification slot in Group B at the expense of Interforce and UNR have a tough task before them when they play Nyanza, who topped Group A after an unbeaten run.

"It is quite extraordinary for a team to finish the season without losing a game but we shall not let that get to our heads.”

"I have a game plan for Nyanza,” the rookie coach said.
The youthful coach also expressed his desire to come out of retirement if the club qualifies.

"I will definitely give it (playing) a serious thought if my side qualifies,” the 27-year-old added.

Ndikumana, who captained the side last season and witnessed their drop to the second division, was tasked to coach the team after the sacking of Yves Rwasamanzi.

The dates for the playoffs are yet to be set by Ferwafa.
