Just when you thought that Rwandan music was not selling oversees; Meddy has proved otherwise at his Goma concert over the weekend.

The concert held at Mulingo Hotel in Goma, in the Democratic Republic of Congo was allegedly attended by over 3,000 people.

Meddy performed live for over two hours. He entertained his crowd with his songs, including ‘Igipimo’, his latest hit track and left them contented.

"I was excited by the way Congolese turned up for my show,” Meddy told Salus Radio on telephone.

He added: "I didn’t expect such a huge number because I wasn’t sure whether they like Rwandan music.”
