Regardless of the result of yesterday’s result in Lumumbashi against TP Mazembe, the African Champions League winners, I want to say ‘thank you’ to the team and coaching staff of APR FC for giving us a wonderful result in Stade Amahoro, where we beat the Congolese team one-nil.

A result like that warms the heart of each and every Rwandan football fan, whether or not they support the football team.

APR FC’s success in continental competitions should be seen as a success for Rwandan football.
