PAC members meet in Kigali

KIGALI - The Presidential Advisory Council (PAC), a group of eminent Rwandan and International experts who offer strategic advice and guidance to President Paul Kagame, yesterday began a three-day meeting in Kigali.

KIGALI - The Presidential Advisory Council (PAC), a group of eminent Rwandan and International experts who offer strategic advice and guidance to President Paul Kagame, yesterday began a three-day meeting in Kigali.

The group, which meets in April and in September every year, will discuss a number of issues including education and skills; taxation policy and the development of the financial sector in Rwanda.

The discussions will be informed by visits to various parts of the country.

Members of the Council come from a variety of high level backgrounds and offer their considerable knowledge, experience and networks to assist Rwanda’s socio-economic development.

In addition to senior Rwandan Government officials, religious leaders and experts, the PAC has a number of members drawn from the international community.
