Local artists on Sunday evening sent music lovers wild at Amahoro National Stadium, at the ‘Kigali City Festival’ that started late last month.

Miss JoJo left the stage miserable, after the machines jammed during her performance.

However, thanks to the DJ, the crowd was compensated by Meddy’s electrifying gig that sent the revellers screaming and asking for more.
Meddy stormed the stage with his queen dancers, singing Igipimo.

Other performers included Man Martin and Alpha Rwirangira, TPF 3 winner.

Alpha performed ‘We Are One’, and he was later joined by different artists who entertained the crowd.

The festival aimed at showing Kigali’s progress in its preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa. The country’s cultural troupe ‘Urukerereza’ will perform at the opening ceremony.
