Four teams finished with 4-1 records each, which means that the rankings had to be determined by the number of points scored. Angola’s Petro de Luanda leads the standings, followed by Egypt’s Al Ahly, with RSSB Tigers placed third.

The playoff format pairs teams as 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, and 4 vs 5. The quarterfinals will be played over two games, with aggregate scores deciding who advances to the semifinals. RSSB Tigers and FUS Rabat will therefore meet twice, with the winner progressing.
